A Beautiful and Unusual Edwardian Diamond Ring Circa 1920

The 14k yellow gold and platinum mounting contains a center Old European Cut diamond measuring approximately 5.60mm and weighing approximately .65ct (H-I, SI1). The diamond is bead set in a platinum box head. The yellow gold gallery and shoulders of the ring are beautifully pierced with a tulip and leaf motif. The top of the ring measures approximately 2.32mm. The shoulders measure approximately 6.25mm and taper to 1.10mm at the bottom of the grooved shank. The shank is stamped PLAT and the 14K stamp has been worn off but has ben tested. The ring is a size 7 ½ and can be resized at your request at no additional charge. The ring is in excellent original condition.
