An Art Deco Diamond and Platinum Engagement Ring Circa 1920

The platinum mounting contains a center round transitional cut diamond. The diamond measures approximately 5.27mm and weighs approximately .55cttw (H, VS). The diamond is bead set in a milgrained octagonal bezel. The mounting is pierced in an elaborate design with milgrain engraving down the sides. The diamond sits off the finger by approximately 5.74mm. The shoulders of the ring measure approximately 6.47mm and taper to 1.16mm at the bottom of the shank. The shank is slender and high polished. There is evidence that the ring has been reshanked and resized. The ring is in very good condition. The ring is not stamped but has been tested. The ring is a 4 and ¾ and can be resized at your request at no additional cost.
