One Lady’s Emerald and Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1950

The heavy platinum mounting features a center cushion cut natural emerald measuring approximately 7.05mm x 6.39mm. The prong set emerald is a very fine bright green with very good color saturation and slightly visible inclusions. Surrounding the emerald are 2 halo’s of round cut diamonds. The first circle contains 12 diamonds (1.7mm) and the outer circle contains 14 diamonds (2.4mm). The approximate total weight of the diamonds are .94cttw (H-I, SI1).

The diamonds are prong set. The shoulders of the mounting have a bow motif and measure approximately 6.26mm and taper to 2.89 at the base of the ribbed shank. The ring is not stamped, but has been tested. The ring is in very good original condition and it’s size is 6 ¾ and can be resized.
